Starlings in Flow

01 Feb 2016

Did you know that a flock of starlings is called a Murmuration? I love that word, love saying it. Murmuration.

They don’t have a long how-to-do list taped under one wing. There’s no one shouting or giving instructions. Yet, see what they achieve.

They operate off three simple principles:
– fly towards the centre of the flock;
– fly as close to the other birds as possible;
– don’t bump into another bird.

From simplicity arises the complex and beautiful.

What are your core principles that most influence your behaviour?

Thanks and acknowledgement to the wonderful Box of Crayons.

I warmly recommend you sign up with Michael, he’s a genius.

Till next time, let’s all flourish and flow.
